We have an opportunity for a Senior UX Specialist to guide strategy and execution for regional and global clients. Expertise in designing complex web apps with knowledge of content, email, and social media marketing is a must. This role requires a nimble, bridge-building leader with a passion for doing the right thing, someone with a strategic and tactical mind, someone who advocates for people while creating useful, usable, and engaging experiences that solve their big challenges.

Responsibilities include:

  • Work with clients to understand their business and goals to guide content organization, strategy and user experience on their web and mobile properties
  • Create IA, wireframes, prototypes, sitemaps, user flows, journey maps, feature lists, mockups, functional requirements and other documentation to serve as the blueprints for site/experience design and development
  • Evaluate existing websites to identify potential usability issues and opportunities for improvements
  • Conduct user testing and generate recommendations based on test results
  • Ensure consistency throughout user experience of web and mobile sites
  • Track emerging technologies and trends that may influence UX design
  • Educate colleagues and clients on IA/UX principles
  • Foster a creative and productive work environment
  • Develop, facilitate, and manage UX related workshops such as design sprints

Requirements:

  • At least five years of experience in information architecture and/or user experience design
  • Experience translating user research into design decisions
  • BA or BS in: Information Sciences, Library Science, Graphic Arts, Computer Science, HCI, Marketing or a related area
  • Strong knowledge of website design, including working knowledge of front- and back-end development technologies
  • Strong knowledge of designing mobile experiences, including adaptive and responsive design approaches
  • Strong knowledge of user interface design processes and methodologies
  • Strong knowledge of user testing processes
  • Working knowledge of database design
  • Comfortable working with tight deadlines, communicating your ideas and presenting your work.
  • Experience with Sketch and Invision
