We are looking for a Talent & People Coordinator with outstanding written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills. You are expected to be a conceptual thinker with fantastic organizational and time management skills and possess the ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

To ensure success, a Talent & People Coordinator should display strong problem solving and decision-making skills with a deep understanding of employee relationships, staffing and conflict management and recruiting.

WHAT YOUR DAY WILL LOOK LIKE

  • Partner with the People team for all internal and external related inquiries or requests
  • Prepare recruitment materials and post jobs to appropriate job boards
  • Support the recruitment process by identifying candidates, performing phone screens and issuing background screens, when appropriate
  • Respond to verifications of employment for current and previous team members
  • Assist with payroll and other adhoc People projects
  • Create and maintain company documents and collateral for People team, including benefits and programs
  • Coordinate performance management process, including annual trainings for managers and team members and quarterly trainings in collaboration with the Vice President of People, as needed
  • Coordinate company compliance training sessions and seminars in collaboration with Vice President of People
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest People and Talent trends and best practice
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as apparent

WHAT SHOULD BE IN YOUR BACKPACK

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications or a similar field required
  • 2+ years of experience working in Human Resources or a similar field required
  • Familiarity with Paycom, as a People management, payroll, applicant tracking and learning management system preferred
  • Exposure to labor laws and employment equity regulations in a variety of U.S. states and Puerto Rico
  • Full understanding of People functions and best practices
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines
  • Highly computer literate with capability in email, MS Office and related business and communication tools
  • Fantastic organizational and time management skills
  • Strong decision-making and problem solving skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail
